GTA 6 Collector's Box Revealed: What's Inside the $399.99 Goodtime State – Vice City Collection

Rockstar Games revealed on Thursday, September 24, 2026 the first collector's product for Grand Theft Auto VI: The Goodtime State – Vice City Collection. Sold through the Rockstar Store for $399.99 (also listed at £349.99, €399.99 and CA$559.99), the box is limited to one per customer.
The collection is built around the Leonida Keys and Vice City, the two regions where Jason and Lucia's story takes place, and every item is officially licensed merchandise themed after the game's fictional version of Florida.
Check out everything inside the box:
-
Macca the gator figure
A collectible statue of the gator mascot seen across Leonida, with a twist-open base.
-
Oakley® Frogskins™ sunglasses
A themed pair of the classic Oakley frames, matching the beach look of the Keys.
-
New Era® 9FORTY cap
An adjustable cap with Leonida branding.
-
Leonida Keys crossbody bag
A shoulder bag inspired by the island chain where Jason starts the game.
-
Small collectibles
A Macca the gator magnetic mirror, a Chunkee the Manatee shot glass, a collectible Vice City swizzle spoon and a razor-blade keychain.
-
Pins, stickers and poster
A set of nine Leonida Keys enamel pins in a metal tin, a sticker pack and a double-sided souvenir poster with the map of Leonida.
Important: the game is NOT included. The Goodtime State is a merchandise box only, with no download code. GTA VI itself is sold separately and launches on November 19, 2026 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, so a fan who wants both the box and the standard edition of the game should budget close to $480.
Fan reaction was mixed, mostly because of the price and the missing game. For collectors, though, it is the most complete set of official Leonida merchandise Rockstar has released so far, and the map poster is one of the first physical looks at the state's full layout.

Context
The Goodtime State – Vice City Collection is Rockstar's first large physical product for GTA VI, and it surfaced in an unusual way. On September 24, Insider Gaming reported that a datamined list of 55 Rockstar Store items included the box, possibly limited to one per person; Rockstar opened pre-orders the same day.
It sits outside the two game editions Rockstar announced in June: the $79.99 Standard Edition and the $99.99 Ultimate Edition, with pre-orders that opened on June 25. Unlike the collector's editions of many big releases, the box contains no copy of the game and no download code. Reports say deliveries are due to start around the November 19 launch, with shipping and import duties charged separately.
What we know
- The box costs $399.99, £349.99 or €399.99 and is sold through the Rockstar Store.
- It does not include GTA VI or a download code; the game is sold separately.
- Headline items are a six-inch Macca the Gator figure with a twist-open stash base, Oakley Frogskins sunglasses with Prizm Sapphire lenses, a New Era 9FORTY cap and a Leonida Keys crossbody bag.
- Smaller items include nine enamel pins in a metal tin, a sticker pack and a double-sided poster with a map of Leonida.
- Guru3D reports a limit of one box per customer, matching what the earlier datamine suggested.
What we don't know yet
- Rockstar has not said how many boxes were made or whether there will be restocks.
- Exact delivery dates by region are unclear; reports only place the first shipments around launch.
- It is not confirmed whether the poster map shows Leonida exactly as it appears in the final game.
- The datamined list had 55 store items, and Rockstar has not said when, or whether, the rest will go on sale.
VICEVERSA's take
Four hundred dollars for merchandise without the game is a hard sell, and the reaction in Push Square's comments was mostly negative. Much of the value rests on the Oakleys and the New Era cap, branded items with appeal outside GTA. The rest is souvenir material: shot glass, swizzle spoon, mirror, keychain. Within a day, fans were sharing 3D-printable files of the Macca figure, which says a lot about how much of the price is the logo.
For most players the practical point is simpler. This is not a collector's edition in the usual sense, and pairing it with the Standard Edition comes to roughly $480 before shipping and taxes. The razor-blade keychain and the hidden stash fit Rockstar's satirical tone, though they also make this an adult collectible rather than a gift for younger fans. If the box sells out quickly despite the price, expect more premium merchandise around launch; if it lingers, that would be a rare sign of where GTA fans draw the line.
